In my sister's blog , she talks about having a Pensieve. She also says, in her introduction, "Dive into the silvery threads of my thoughts and memories".
This would often make me question the need for having one. according to the legends from the world of Potter, Riddle and Albus, a Pensieve is used to store the thoughts. But actually, what they mean is that, in a farther time, these thoughts can be seen and felt, as though being projected on a 3d screen.
I used to think that what utility is that for. for what we can recall later, is good enough. For what we have put down on paper, on a journal is good enough.
It all changed as my Baba fell ill. No not then, really, but when he started to recover a bit and when he could speak again.
Gosh! I missed his voice.
I mean his real original voice. Right then, it was just a croak or a squeak.
That was one time I so desperately wished that I could have had a Pensieve. To help relive my memories with him.
'cause, When I think about him, all i remember is his rich baritone reverberating through the house, calling me out " Miiiishuu".
Gosh, I miss that voice.
