market that stocks a lot of make up. and invariably, I end up buying a
bottle of nail paint from there.
so this time when I went to the ambience mall store, about 10 days
back, it was no different. I got this gorgeous red(whaaat? halloween
had *just gone by :p) for those dramatic nights and a very nice subtle
(called cappuccino) for the normal routine wear. and a few other
things(hand sanitiser et al) as well which were not as interesting.
getting back home, I wanted to to of course try them! but alas, as I
opened the bag, I realised that the store keeper had forgotten to put
them in albeit all the other (inane) stuff was there.
I kept the bill with me, making up my mind to go and claim for my
nailpaints the next time I go there. as I was telling this to a friend
i realised, he was not very supportive of my charging up there and all
that... so, well, I probed of course. to which he mumbled something
like, let it be. and that maybe the store guy might not even believe
you and waise bhi they were not very expensive either. how much do the
150 odd rupees matter for having to try to convince the store people
of their mistake.
i disagree. my point being, I don't want to go cuz of the money. I
want to go cuz I want my nailpaints back. and I won't like to buy them
again from the ambience mall store and if I go to one of the others,
I'll keep whining about how I had already bought two but couldn't use
them for so long.
now my dilemma is, am I too high strung. should I just let this go
already and buy them again or should I confront the store people? what
says you?
p.s. I very firmly believe they should've called me and informed
about how they didn't give me my stuff. :p they of course had my
number, I am a member and my phone number is my log in number. duh.
p.p.s. this post is from my mobile, via the email as I sit in the
classroom waiting for the students to return from lunch break.
formatting would follow as I return to delhi again. :)
