I have started teaching! It was something I never thought I would do. There are always those times in your life when you look down upon some profession or other. We have all had this when we were in the college, directed towards the only accessible-for-scorn profession - teaching!
And yet, here I am, teaching and enjoying every second of it. :)
It is an interior designing institute in Delhi and they wanted a part time faculty(read 8:00 to 10:00) in the morning. They got my reference from some random job site and pursued me(benefits of being a part of a big architectural firm :P) till the time I gave in! My only concern was how do I manage office and this together. But I am doing it, and hope I'd be able to continue.
I guess what drives me is the will to teach others what I know. And yes, it certainly is easier said than done. :)
p.s. - I got a teacher's day card(yea yea.. it was a guy and yes he was trying to strike points) and a few wishes, here and there.. :) on the second class.. it was very very embarrassing and yet very touching for some strange reason!
